Facial Acupuncture ā€” A Natural Approach to Skincare

A noninvasive, no down-time, ultra relaxing cosmetic treatment to encourage graceful aging, nourish skin health, and treat skin conditions from the inside out.

What does a facial acupuncture treatment consist of?

Acupuncture, massage, gua sha and cupping of the neck and face. Body needles are added to target internal imbalances that may be affecting skin health.

How do I know if Iā€™m a candidate for facial acupuncture?

All skin types can benefit! By targeting both locally as well as systemically, you will receive a treatment from the inside out.

  • Aging skin, with fine lines and wrinkles

  • Skin with loss of tone - a sagging quality

  • Dull and dehydrated skin, potentially with dark circles under the eyes

  • Inflamed and acne prone skin

  • Puffy skin prone to water retention

  • Tension in the jaw, scalp and face muscles

  • And those who are looking for preventative treatments!

What are the benefits of facial acupuncture?

Inserting acupuncture needles into the face both help to open the acupuncture channels that run along this area as well as reach underlying structures to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Massage, gua sha and cupping all work to increase qi and blood circulation in the neck and face, open up the detoxification pathways via the lymphatic system, and break up stagnation which causes tension and inflammation. Benefits can include:

  • Toning, lifting, firming

  • Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles

  • Reducing puffiness and water retention

  • Calming inflammation

  • Scar healing

  • Hydrating and brightening

  • Tension relieving

What products do you use?

All products are from plant-based, organic skincare companies that are suitable for all skin types.

How many sessions are recommended to gain results?

A series of 10-12 treatments 1x/week will promote results that can last up to 4 months, and these results can be maintained with monthly treatments.

Treatments are done in the studio in Venice, CA.

Maintain skin health at home by adding gua sha and massage into your nightly skin routine!
